Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, so we find it appropriate to discuss some of the best destinations for all the lovebirds out there! So go ahead and take a look at our little list, and see if you get inspired.

Venice

An obvious choice, this amazing Italian city is a must-see, not only for the lovers! Full of rich history, you will be mesmerized by the lovely surprises in store for you. Spice up your tastebuds with a traditional local dish, Fegato alla Veneziana, while enjoying the views of the canals in a candlelit restaurant. And afterwards take a gondola ride through the canals to finish off a perfect evening together.

Paris

Of course, we couldn’t leave out the City of Love in our recommended list. Known for its aged wines, rich cuisine, and romantic atmosphere, Paris is one of the best destinations for couples. Love is literally in the air in the French capital. From the long walks down the Seine River, to the romantic rooftop dinners, to taking the iconic kissing photo with your significant other by the Eiffel Tower, Paris is simply a perfect Valentine’s Day destination.

New York

Perhaps not an obvious choice for everyone, but we think it can be a fun destination for couples. Nothing can beat a walk through Central Park, or a breakfast enjoyed by the Hudson River. It definitely has more of a modern vibe than the other cities on our list, but that’s the beauty of it!

Florence

Another Italian city that we just couldn’t leave off of our list. Florence is recognized as being one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Explore the amazing Duomo, the incredible works of art dating back to the Renaissance, as well as local artists’ contributions of street art as you turn down hidden streets of the bustling city. Don’t miss watching the sunset over Florence from the Piazzale Michelangelo. With your loved one by your side, Florence is simply the dream destination for this holiday.

Santorini

Santorini is perhaps the most famous of the Greek islands, making it also one of the best romantic getaways. Not only is the island picture perfect, with its white buildings covered in bright blue roofs and its turquoise waters, but it also has a charm to it, with kind and welcoming locals. Combined all together, Santorini is a great holiday destination!

Amsterdam

There’s a reason why this “Venice of the North” is the place where the characters from the “The Fault in Our Stars” fell in love with each other. Amsterdam is full of cute little streets, strolling parks, and, of course, flowers! As Holland is known for its tulip fields, there are plenty of opportunities to get your darling a gorgeous bouquet.

Buenos Aires

Known for its colors and vibrant nightlife, Buenos Aires might just be the perfect option for those of you who want their time together to be full of activity. Because what better place than the capital of tango to dance the night away? Admire the amazing districts of La Boca and Monserrat, and get lost in the city that never ceases to amaze.

Wherever you go, remember, at the end of the day what matters most is the company, so go explore and simply have fun together!
